We think of architecture not as a single practice, but how it interrelates with many other professionals such as Structural engineer, Mechanical/Electrical Engineers, Interiors, Landscape Architects, Acousticians, Fire engineers, Urban designers and not forgetting Cost Consultants. All of these team members help in improving our human experience in a spatial world in which we live, work and play. Amedus Architecture is a new practice by its Founder and Director Phil Chadwick formally a owner and director of Savage & Chadwick Architects (S+C) having offices in the Isle of Man and Kendal UK.  The practice grew with a broad spectrum of work and Phil has now set up a new venture based in Perth Western Australia bringing to it the experience of all those years of practice at S+C.

Having developed a reputation for inspirational design in differing and complex building categories, the business is now looking to apply those skills in at least WA. We have a particular reputation for the following: -

We are based in Perth south of the river in the City of Kalamunda, but can easily travel to all locations.

We take a holistic approach to all our design work, starting with the very fundamental aspects of how a site and building are situated within their context including heritage and their orientation. We are passionate about the design process and engaging with our clients to fully understand how buildings are used and how they might be improved.  We are also motivated by a belief that all should have access to excellent design no matter what the requirement is and believe that there should not be a two-tier approach based on economic ability. We also respect Heritage and where possible seek to create a suitable hybrid that respects both past and present,
